I started my nursing career as an LPN. I worked for 1 year and realized that nursing was what I definitely wanted to do. I got accepted into an RN diploma program the following year and never looked back. I continued my education and received my BSN while working as a bedside RN. I have experience as a unit manager for subacute rehabs, occupational health and infection prevention. I switched over to an inpatient environment and worked on a cardiac telemetry unit for several years where I also served as the charge nurse and assistant manager. I have been working in the emergency department for the last 3 1/2 years and it has truly been my favorite thus far! I am married with 2 beautiful boys! I am happy to talk about juggling real life and being a nurse! I am happy to answer any questions and look forward to meeting all of you!!
