Clinical Engineering – The Life of the Equipment Doctors
Friday March 14, 2025 8:30am - 8:50am EDT
Clinical Engineering is the hospital department responsible for ensuring the safety of all medical equipment used in the facility.  The work we do ranges from reviewing equipment requests, installation, networking, cybersecurity, preventive maintenance, calibration and repair of everything from thermometers to MRI machines.  There are no patient care events that do not involve some form of medical equipment.  In addition to ensuring patient safety, we work to develop and implement innovative ideas using 3D printing, engineering and Medical Equipment Mangement to improve the lives of patients, staff and physicians.  Stop by and learn more about this important and exciting field!
