In order to participate in this event on Friday, March 14, 2025, you must be invited by an event coordinator, and you must have a full schedule of 8 sessions. To be invited to this event, please have a parent sign the WakeMed consent form and email the form to WorkforceDevelopment@wakemed.org.

Friday, March 14th is a WCPSS traditional calendar teacher workday. If your school does not follow this calendar, you may elect to seek an excused absence from your school’s administration to attend this educational event.

Mobile Critical Care Services – Healthcare on Wheels

During this session, we will explain the various positions employed within our department and the services we provide to our patients. We will also have some of the equipment that we use on display.

WakeMed's Mobile Critical Care Services provides hospital-to-hospital transport for critically ill patients in support of our Level I Trauma Center, Heart Center, Children's Emergency Departments and Emergency Response.
From ground transport to disaster preparedness and response, our team of highly trained professionals stands ready to serve at a moment's notice.
One of the state's busiest inter-facility transport services, WakeMed's comprehensive Critical Care Services includes and impressive fleet of vehicles and transports an average of 600 critically ill patients each month.
